Pharmacology: Boswellia serrata in Bossera is a gum resin and powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-arthritic drug. The many boswellic acids found in Boswellia serrata are Beta boswellic acid (BBA), Acetyl-beta- boswellic acid (ABA), 11-keto-beta boswellic acid (KBA), and most important of all 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA). All these boswellic acids together play a major role in inhibiting inflammatory cascade.
